Open the chest muscles, correct posture, strengthen the shoulders and bring balance to your upper body.
This 9 minute sequence is an antidote to too much computer time and rounded shoulders. Plus, it feels great!
We start by opening the pectoralis minor muscles which can become shortened if you spend a lot of time with your arms in front of or have rounded shoulders and forward head posture. In our society, this is a common pattern; however, as with any exercise, it isn’t a one size fits all! We are all bio-individual. Either give it a try and see how it goes, or work with a practitioner who can guide you to find the best exercises for your unique body.
Also, try varying the position of your arms for even more goodness! You can bring the hands closer together, farther apart, as well as moving them up the wall. The body and the brain LOVE variety.
